Project Management


You can find a list of my project management activities during recent years in the following:
  • Financial merger and acquisition: BLB has been fully taken over by NORD/LB at the end of 2016. Currently I am a member of the core team heading the project to integrate BLB into the structures of NORD/LB. Previously I accompanied the due dilligence for the companies valuation ahead of the takeover.
  • Securitization: Securitization transactions involve the structured sale of large credit portfolios (typically of a volume of several bn EUR) or the risk associated with these portfolios and are subject to tight regulation by supervisory authorities since the financial crisis. For the securitization transactions of BLB I was responsible for the communication with regulatory authorities and the development of a model for the significant risk transfer.
  • EBA Stress Test: During the EBA stress test 2016 I was responsible for the sub-project to model the net-interest-income (NII) of BLB using a simulation based on a database containing the individual interest carrying positions of BLB's portfolio (loans and deposits, derivatives, securities). My responsibility during the EBA stress test 2014 was the modelling of the shipping portfolio of the NORD⁄LB-group.
  • Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP): I took the shared project lead for the introduction of the SREP at BLB. The project consisted of identifying existing gaps in the processes of BLB and building a repository of the required documents.
  • IFRS 9: I was responsible for the sub-project set up to identify the impact of IFRS 9 impairment. The sub-project had the scope of gathering the required data and forecasting the financial impact of the introduction of IFRS 9 impairment.
